I like this asssessment better, so I'll take it to be true lol

Yea his assessment was much more accurate. I think it was just that MarJo and Bratt looked to be building some chemistry together so they stood out more. That’s basically what I think we need out of that second line and let Zacha concentrate on a centermans defensive duties and while on offense just find some soft zones for the other 2 playmakers to find him for a quick shot.

Kinkaid looked solid too.

Seems like he’s really worked on his rebound control because every single save was placed into a corner or exactly where he wants it. He’s no longer just saving the puck but working on where he’s putting it.

Goal #1 he was lazy with the pokecheck, but that’s fixable. Goal #2 was just a nice play on a breakdown but he actually read the play pretty well just wasn’t anticipating the quick release. Goal #3 he looks bad but probably could’ve read the play better but Severson should’ve also tied up his man.

He made a good amount of saves off of quality chances/breakdowns though and made them look easy.

Funny, but I thought he was a bit shaky. I thought he had some problems handling the puck behind the net, and the couple of posts didn't inspire too much confidence on my part. I agree that his rebound control did seem to improve a bit though.

I didn't say he was bad, just meh, okay. I don't think he really did anything that stood out. His breakaway was his best play of the night, but he couldn't finish. He also had a bad giveaway in his own zone that led to a good scoring chance.

Forgive me if this was already put up.

Love the chemistry that's developing with Bratt and MarJo.

And that was one hell of a pass to Andy Green of all people for a goal by Bratt-man.

PB & J is a good name for that line

I'm hungry.

Feels good to post this for the first time this year. May there be many more.

Just noticed in the replay of the sensational Bratt-pass-Green-Goal, that Zacha was looking to deflect-tip the passing puck but whiffed and it resulted in a pretty goal for Andy.

he didn’t whiff he was covered by a dman who tied up his stick, that happens but it’s what freed up the pass to get through to greene

Didnt see the game... but from the games I've seen hes looked fine and like you and others have noted his rebound control is better then last year. His stick handling has also improved overall (maybe was a bit off last night but that's pre season for ya)
Imo hes at the very least maintained his play from when cory went down last year.
