West Ham and Newcastle look like they may implode sooner than later so that would be an interesting match. Feel bad for any neutral that watches West Brom v Stoke instead of Chelsea v Everton on Sunday.

Put some real pressure on the bet: if it's a draw, all involved have to use a Mourinho avatar.

Lanzini is back in the squad, guess he'll be subbed in the 2nd half. Not too keen on watching the Hammers without a creative midfielder..

Mendy making his debut for City today. Bernardo is starting as well for them.

Newcastle aren't imploding, at least not as far as Mike Ashley is concerned.

Back Benitez enough to win promotion, guaranteeing EPL TV income for 17-18, and parachute payments through to 2021. Check.

Give Benitez insufficient funds to compete in the EPL, but allow NUFC to incur a net spend on transfers. Check.

Launch a public civil war against Benitez, engaging media allies, as well as counting on bitter ex-NUFC players/coaches to criticise him rather than you in the hope that idiots among the fans will parrot the criticisms. Check.

Wait for Benitez to walk. Use the net spend on transfers as a defence against the equally inevitable compensation claim. About to be checked.

The lessons of Keegan's resignation in 2008 have been absorbed.

Bournemouth is always dangerous at home. Had City on the ropes for a bit.
