So, er, about that device at Old Trafford: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36297390

A suspicious item discovered at Old Trafford on Sunday was a training device, police have confirmed.

The Premier League match between Manchester United and Bournemouth was called off after a suspect package was found shortly before kick-off and a controlled explosion carried out.

Police said the item had "accidentally" been left by a private company after a training exercise on Wednesday.

The match has been rearranged for Tuesday at 20:00 BST.

Still, we will learn from this. Thank god or whatever you wish to thank for that this time it was a false alarm. But It surely gave a valuable lesson to people organizing this match and to the authorities as well.

One of the goals in the Paris attacks was to blow up the bomb near the Stade de France, and no doubt attacks like that might be possible in the future (or near future as it seems). So it's good they get good real life exercise on a situation like this, and might be able to help at EURO 2016 security as well.

On a more happier note, happy St. Totteringham's day!
