We heard all year how Wenger sucked, how Arsenal sucked, and all year how Pocchetino was a genius and Tottenham a great team.

In the end, Arsenal finished over Tottenham and went as far as Spurs in european competition, only in a much stiffer competition.

I guess Tottenham isn't over their usual problems yet, as many of us expected.

They have really poor depth in midfield. That wasn't a problem until Alli got suspended. They may have finished behind Arsenal in the last couple of matches when the title was already decided, but they certainly made far better use of the talent they had this season than Arsenal did.

They were 2 points behind Leicester after beating them in mid February. Finished 10 points behind. They could have won the league this year, Wenger's summer transfer window helped negate them.
