Penalties are a crap shoot. Look at the Charity Shield.
Henderson was also nearly at the spot by the time Jorginho shot lmao
I really really hope that Tomori becomes good enough to do a job for Chelsea but not so good that he gets called up for England and picks Canada.
And here I'm just glad to see Pulisic can more than hang in the EPL.
He is actually good. He can be inconsistent, and age hasn't helped with that, but he's still good. Weren't you one of the people that said a club could never win a title with him as a starter, then we did and you avoided it?
It was definately a weak penalty. Not enough to overturn if the TV angle was on the other side it would have been more accurate.
Very frustrated if they lose this game with that gift wrap penalty.
It's like a throwback watching a typical British 70's/80's CB's passing.
They said that about Milner too. I think some people here have no idea what they're even watching.
Second half was a bit yikes though.
Mount has looked awesome since coming on, this kid's compete level is so high.
The most unbelievable thing about Salah is that he's that good and from Egypt.
Personally I'm impressed he's still out there after all that box to box running he did at the start of the match.
Why is that unbelievable?
No Yellow card on Mount holding Salah shirt to pass by him? And one on Trent winning his 50/50. Come on wake up!
Trent's yellow was really obvious lol
Because he is an elite player from a country that is not known for producing elite players. Players at his level from European or South American nations are just much less surprising.
As was Mount
I mean, Africa in general has produce plenty of elite talents from various countries.
Shit player Pedro just walked through the Liverpool defense and nearly scored
Mount is going to be a good one.
Advantage was played and there's almost never yellows awarded for obstruction type fouls when advantage plays out.
It's more notable that until recently his club had only developed one NT level player of note. The odds of a super small club developing a player like that are infinitesimal.
Definitely. I don't know of any others from Egypt, though.
Fair. Still mad we botched his development here, same with De Bruyne. Both were discovered before they were hyped.
