Absolutely effin' terrible. He was playing so freakin' well with Sokratis and getting back Kos after his nine month absence due to another serious injury won't solve the problem. Holding probably won't return to this type of form either, ACL and Achilles are the worst of the worst injuries for footballers.

In case people were wondering where Alexis Sanchez is, he's got a hamstring injury and it out at least until January 13th. Physioroom looking very familiar in United's case again... Granted there are plenty of "late fitness test" cases but still...

Just as noticeable in the physio room as he is on the field.

Not sure if we have a Carabao Cup thread but wow what a goal from Albrighton.

EDIT: Also James Maddison is awesome.

I think every regular player has been injured for at least a few weeks for Spurs. And most of their depth as well.

Pretty much everyone on here has been pointing out for the last two years how lucky Spurs have been with injuries, especially in light of how reliant they are on a core of players that never get rest. So it seemed inevitable this was coming eventually. That said, they're still getting results in spite of it, so hats off

It's a pretty crazy season and a testament to how competitive the PL is when you're running an undefeated season with only 3 draws after 17 games and there are 2 teams that close to you. Hell, Chelsea have only 2 losses and are 8 points back.

If it's a testament to anything it's a testament to how competitive the Premiership is at the top, specifically the top three places, but not competitive in the league as a whole. La Liga is notably more competitive right now and the Bundesliga as competitive.

It seems Martial was not out due to illness after all but because he missed a flight in Paris (confirming rumours he had been spotted there). And to top it all off, he's been..."active" with other women on social media as well.
