Ok, so the next 4 games are against 4 potential Cup contenders...

The Peg
Toronto
Nashville
Tampa

Much has been written/said about this tough mini-stretch of the schedule.

Some fans have decent faith in this 2018-19 Habs lineup... and some do not.

Question/Prediction:

How many points of a possible perfect 8 does Montreal collect in the next 4 games?

8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 or a disastrous 0?

If we get 4 points, that would be a success.

Nashville is beatable, but WPG is going to be tough.

TOR will depend on who shows up for the Leafs. If the kids and JT are on, it may be a tough night.

Tampa I think depends on goaltending. Is Vas is at least a .900 goaltender, may be a tough night for us.

Winning streak continues. Coconut scores 1 goal in each.

Edit for bonus prediction points: Tor fans cry for whatever reason after the game.

3 points they have played well but seem to have scoring issues. The Ducks game doesn't count well it should as if they were more accurate could of scored ten goals

I don't like doing this. I'm a believer in the little things.

How condensed is the habs schedule? How condensed is the opponent's schedule? Is the opponent coming off a tough loss?

Let's start with the jets. They are coming off a loss where they gave up a shorty in OT.

Those caliber of teams almost always respond positively to a bad performance, so expect a loss against Winnipeg.

I'll take it game by game, and evaluate these types of factors.

I went with 5. I think we get a point tomorrow night, beat the Leafs (I hope) and Preds and probably get nothing against the Lightning.
