MacK has a "down" season and only scores 90-95 points

Landy and Mikko both regress slightly to 70 and 80-85 points respectively

But only because Kadri picking up the slack putting up 25+30 for 55 points

Donskoi scores 40 with a decent amount of time on the second line

Jost sticks as Kadri's winger and goes 15+35

Burakovsky starts out the season hot but doesn't find second line consistency and is gone by the trade deadline

Jimmothy Timmothy has a career year finding success up and down the line up, he also leads the league with 6 SHG

Makar is brilliant and receives Calder considerations with 45 points

Girard improves his point total while anchoring our number one defensive pair

Zadorov is Zadorov and while having occasionally excellent games can't find his consistency to stick in the lineup beyond this season (this one breaks my heart)

Byram plays 9 games before being sent down. He plays well enough to be a call up late in the season and sticks for good.

EJ struggles returning from surgery but finds his footing near the end of the season giving us a very strong defensive pairing with a healthy Cole.

Rosen, Connauton, Graves all see playing time to a varying degree of success, but are eventually sidelined (justified or not) due to Cole/EJ being healthy.

Timmins gets some NHL games but spends the season in the AHL leading the Eagles to the AHL playoffs.

The tandem of Gru/Franc ends the season right in the middle of the NHL statistically. Francouz is the full time starter for December/January but Grubauer takes the team into the playoffs again

Avs finish third in the central with 99 points. Manage to make it to at least the Western Conference Final and everyone around here still finds things to complain about :)

Two Rivers
- Byram doesn't look like wet ass in camp and never plays another WHL game again (I know how this front office works) and earns a top four spot over Z after Z is put in Bednar's dog house for a slow start

- The Girard - Makar pairing causes so many erections people are literally passing out in the Pepsi Center from loss of blood in the brain

- Kadri struggles until Bednar breaks up the top line then goes on a tear with Landeskog becoming a fan favorite by December

- Jost becomes the new scapegoat now that Kerfoot is gone

- Grubauer has a MacKinnon-like explosion now that he's 'the guy'

- Burakovski's play justifies the price to acquire him

- Timmins has a good year in the AHL but is forced to play behind a older timer AHL vet because reasons

- Zadorov is traded at the deadline when it's clear all of Girard, Makar, and Byram has passed him and earned more trust

Avs make the playoffs a lot easier this year (non-wildcard spot), god only knows what happens from there.

Oh boy

MacK - Hart/Pearson finalist, not far behind for Ross/Richard.... 47g+57a=104p
Landy - 35g+45a=80p (PP1)
Burakovsky - 32g+39a=71p alongside those two all season and 4th F on PP1
Rantanen - 30g+55a=85p feeding Kadri and Jost plus PP1 time
Kadri - 31g+36a=67p playing off Rants and PP2
Jost - 21g+34a=55p as the 3rd wheel on line 2 and PP2
JTC - 21g+27A=48p driving the 3rd line PP2
Wilson - 13g+22g=35p on JTCs wing opposite:
Donskoi - 15g+26a=41p and PP2 time
Neito - 8g+15a=23p
Bellemare - 7g+18a+25p
Calvert - 9g+16a=25p

EJ - 25p
Cole - 14p
Makar - 16g+32a=48p (PP1) (holding firm on my prediction from the other thread)...also, Calder winner
Girard - 34pts (PP2)
Zadorov - 26pts
Connauton - 17pts

Gru - 60 games, 34 wins, 4 shutouts
Frank - 25 games 13 wins, 2 shutouts

Also get 7 loser points. For a total of 101 points, and 2nd in the Central.

Not going to get into specific injuries or scratches but the points lost by the injured are taken by the call ups....of course not if a big name gets hurt.

-Team starts out even keel with flashes of contender level play and some growing pains chemistry wise.
-Burakovsky gels with Mackinnon and Rantanen for a little streak then cools down, still getting PP minutes
-Mackinnon has great season and hits 100 points finally while flirting with 50 goals
-Mikko is a 90 point player
-Makar has a good rookie season, scoring in the 40 point range and really picking up steam post all star break
-Kadri is a reliable 2nd line center and takes attention off the top line a bit. Hits around 50 points but misses a few games for some reason
-Girard cracks down on flaws in game and becomes a reliable 3D.
-Johnson struggles for patches of season and Zadorov is frustrating at times, but Rosen, Cole and Connauton make their struggle less noticable
-Byram at least plays 9 games. I'm not Nostradamus so I won't say whether he sticks or not
-We finish 2nd in the division barely beating out Nashville and develop an intense rivalry with them, going 7 games against them in the 2nd round

Mack hits 104 points

Rants goes for 91

Landy regresses back the mean and puts up 62.

Makar comes out of the gates flying but hits a rookie wall and ends the season with 43 pts

Girard hits 30 pts

Zadorov hits 10 goals but his polarizing play continues

Grub ends the season with .919%

Cole actually surprisingly plays well coming off injury

And Byram gets a solid 15 games and gets sent down.

Doesn’t Byram have to be sent down by 9 games?

MacKinnon finishes top 3 in league scoring.
Rantanen misses some part of the season or training camp as a contract holdout.
Makar gets 40+ points. Leads Avs in ice time by February.
Zadorov fails to meet expectations but we're told it's ok because he's 24 and still has potential.
Girard successfully pulls off a double axle in game.
Burakovsky gets placed on the 4th line by December.
Grubauer has another up and down season.
Compher gets 20 goals, 40+ points.
Cole becomes the new whipping boy despite playing ok.
Kadri doesn't get suspended all season.
Jost plays as the 3c most of the year.
Avs make the playoffs with home ice advantage in first round
Duchene nets a hat trick against the Avs.

Prediction: the Avs wear these for 2 games. I would buy a Kadri one if they did so.

Kadri gets an 81 game suspension in the 1st game of the season, comes back in game 82 where the Avs must win to get into the playoffs, and he scores a hat trick Avs win 3-0, get into the playoffs and win the cup. Makar wins the Conn Smythe

Um...if he gets an 81 game suspension during game 1, he wouldn't be eligible for game 82.

Posters on the main boards will claim that Avs have the most homer announcers, not realizing Haynes quit over two years ago.

Julie Browman will go Tonya Harding on the new girl.

Joonas Donskoi will kill it in the Avs twitter mouthguard challenge.

Avs will make a surprise AHLer for AHLer trade near trade deadline.
