Do you envision Benning still being at the helm of the Canucks? If so, a finals appeareance in 3 years time all but guarantees he receives a lifetime contract.

Whether its Benning there or someone else, that core will be right in the middle of their prime and a lot of the dead weight contracts that make the canucks a tire fire will be expired. As bad as the situation is currently in Van there is still a lot of potential and promise with this core and to think they might contend in a few years is not unrealistic at all. That being said i would be happier if it was with new blood in the front office.
