Stamkos - 103
Crosby - 100
Hall - 94
Tavares - 92
Kane - 92
Malkin - 89
Giroux - 88
Getzlaf - 86
Ovechkin - 84
Seguin - 83

Basically, the usual suspects. I can see Hall having a tremendous season with McDavid on his line. Leaving out a bunch of great players but its a tough list to predict.

Amazing how many people think scoring will go up next season. Do you feel the league will clamp down on penalties next season(thus increase PP scoring)?

Its possible. Two franchise, possibly generational talents coming in. Helps them market the next "Ovi-Crosby" if McDavid and Eichel both flirt with PPG (they can't touch Crosby/Ovi 100-pt rookie seasons)

With Calgary, during a preseason game McDavid will be checked into the Calgary Bench and refuse to leave. Following the game the league gives the Oilers the Flames 1st pick in 15/16 as compensation and thus the Battle of Alberta will be reborn.... No I feel I must be realistic, if that happened it would be a slaughter, not a battle.

I find predicting points to be too much of a crap shoot but I think Crosby will have a massive bounce back year (after a really disappointing season), Ovechkin will continue to be stellar, Seguin will finish top three in scoring, Hall will flirt with top five (thanks to the addition of McDavid), and MacKinnon will have a huge year.

But, if I was a betting man, I'd say that Crosby wins the Art Ross.

Strong lack of Phil the thrill in this thread. Outside of this past season he's been as consistent as they come PPG wise.

I say it'll look like...

Tavares 96 pts
McDavid 91 pts
Ovechkin 88 pts
Stamkos 84
Phil 83
Crosby 75

McDavid a close second in scoring? Give me a break.

Name a rookie in the past 15 years that finished second in scoring. Ovechkin was a distant 3rd in his rookie season

1. McDavid - 109
2. Nylander - 108
3. Crosby - 96
4. Giroux - 94
5. Tavares- 93
6. Seguin - 90
7. Hall - 88
8. Stamkos - 85
9. Kane - 81
10. Getzlaf - 77

Edit: On second thought I might switch Stammer with Tavares or Sequin. He's not very far removed from 3 straight 90+ point seasons after all.

I'll say a slight increase in point totals. Not enough to go back to usual.

I agree with this - - we'll see a slight uptick in points after the NHLPA complaint about lack of offense. Emphasis on slight.

id say this is pretty accurate but i dont think MacKinnon or McDavid post those totals. Hall will be above McDavid in points.
