if Bouchard becomes a 70 point dman in the NHL McDavid hits 130, If the Oilers never find that offensive stud from the backend, McDavid still hits in incredible 120 + , if The Oilers remain trash for the remainder of McDavids contract, McDavid will be hard pressed to hit 110 + every year.

I think he can get 130 this season if he continues to shoot like he did in the second half of last year.

depends how the league evolves but Malkin's high was 113, Crosby 120 and Ovehchkin 113

I think between 115-120 is a reasonable pike. For the types of seasons we've seen recently (1 or 2 player barely reaching 100 points), him hitting 110 will be awesome already but I can see him produce more.

130+ I think the league as a whole would see a big increase in scoring, which is possible in the 20 years McD is in the league

130+ and it might already happen next season.

Oilers just need to become decent and he can do it.

I feel the league won't go full blown try get scoring up, last year was just an outlier in terms of scoring, so I put McDavid at 115-120

Maybe 120 in his peak year unless something drastic happens to alter league scoring rates. Even that is a lot to ask nowadays.

How high were people predicting Crosby to go after his 120pt season? 130? 140? Linear growth doesn't always happen and players like this can peak at any time. 108 could have been his peak for all we know.

I can see him putting up a dominant season where he outscores everyone in points and PPG by over 10%. Based on last year's point totals, that would have been a 115ish point season.

Scoring went down after his 2006/07. He was producing better relative to the league from 2010 to 2013. Malkin peaked later on, OV peaked at age 22 to 24. It would be surprising if he didn't put up a better season at least once.

130+. This is what he needs to do to establish himself as the greatest forward since Lemieux. I think he can do it.
