The only reason I have us losing to Anaheim is that it's a B2B against an average team coming off a win the night before. That's the type of game they've lost for the last 10+ years. Until they start to win those I remain skeptical.

Tough opening schedule combined with still finding some chemistry leads to some early struggles. Can easily see a 6 game losing streak in the middle of the month.

Dahlin turns it on after 3-4 games of experience. Clear Calder favorite.
Reinhart is ppg.
Nylander provides real secondary scoring on a non Eichel line.
Hutton is solid and keeps us in games.
Mittelstadt is quiet in the first month, not terribly bad or terribly good.

I honestly can't make a prediction as I am torn between my optimistic hope to finally have a good start and the tough looking schedule.
I just hope they are at least fun to watch and if they re losing I hope it is not as boring and tedious as last year and the years before, this boring dump and chase hockey.

They don't come out of the gate sprinting, but not a terrible start either. I think Eichel and Reinhart will have big years, and they'll start like it. But the team needs more than those 2 going to put up a winning record, and I'm thinking the rookies will need a bit of time to adjust/develop.

2-8-2 and another season that's over in a month. Honesty the only games I have any hope at all we can win are vs the rags, Yotes, Habs and Flames (and that's only because it's a home game). If we weren't playing the Ducks on a BTB I could see us beating them too.
