Yup, reading the value some people think he has is depressing. Dude's a hard worker and it has shown in his progression, he's a valued player by people who judge NHL talent.

It’s not just the hard work anymore. He’s got everything locked down now in almost robotic fashion - faceoffs, positioning, lane blocking, hits, PKing... and now he’s cleaned up his act offensively. He’s holding onto the puck longer instead of just throwing it away like he used to.

I really didn’t like him for a long time but now he’s actually worthy of the praise he’s getting from personnel. He’s really settled in. I’ve enjoyed watching him this year.
