Listen he’s gonna allow like 20 a game to whoever he’s guarding....but he’s gonna rebound and be hilarious

Kinda worth it?

He's not horrible but he's not a stud Center that helps you win a Championship. I honestly don't see him sticking around for the duration of his 2 year deal.

Hes being paid the same as Theis. Give me a break.

Dude got his team past the best center in the NBA in Jokic playing hurt FFS. He was a stud center that series for Portland when their all star went down. We don't need another 'star' what so ever the team would be no better swapping Love in for Kanter.

And honestly NBA players are by in large dicks the fact that we are adding maybe the two most likable guys in the league in Walker and Kanter shouldn't be undersold.

A lot of the g-league teams play in practice Gym's. It would be surprising if the C's did not consider Boston landing if they chose to leave Portland Category:NBA G League venues - Wikipedia
if they did, it won't be Worcester..... it'll either be Portland or Auerbach Center, there's a longstanding lease here....yes, the Expo isn't the greatest setup, but they don't acclimate well either to Cross, I don't think DCU has the dates either.

Dude - chill the f out. I guess I didn't phrase it very well but what I meant was that he not the type of guy that will LEAD a team to a Championship but hopefully he can just play well enough that the C's have a chance. I still don't think he'll be around for the next 2 seasons.

I agree with your initial post too tho. I think your assessments in both posts are accurate

It’s good to know the Celtics have won at least one championship this year ;)

#5 pick T Rob is a good start for the Claws. PJ Dozier, RJ Hunter, and Andrew White III are some good wings and Strus and Tremont Waters as their 2 way guys should be very solid starting guards with Archie Goodwin in the mix. Looks like a good team to me. Roster - Maine Red Claws

Hutch say it aint so with the Worcester talk. Any chance of moving games to the Cumberland County Civic center to boost attendance and keep the team?

I seriously doubt, Brad, that the club is leaving the Expo, but they've tried Cross before when the Expo was booked for other events there, and they've never totally adjusted to the arena and honestly, I also don't think DCU wants that headache when you have hockey as your prime tenant since the majority of the season are Fridays and Sundays, also prime hockey dates now that both cities have hockey back as their top draw...

the Expo isn't the greatest venue, but it has served them well in the Deering neighborhood , especially with Troubh Arena and Hadlock, as well as Fitzpatrick Stadium all aligned there, that's the problem when it's a peninsula as compared to most cities here

The C's had a preseason game in 2007 in Worcester that had to be canceled before it was over due to poor conditions they have never been back since Celtics Announce Ticket Policy for Game Cancelled after First Half in Worcester | Boston Celtics

Yante Maten joins the organization exhibit ten deal which gives him option to sign directly with the Claws, Maten had been with Sioux Falls, the Miami operated G-League affiliate.

I don’t believe this is public knowledge. Someone should confirm.
how the public knows that is Jon Jennings, remember the article Fenway posted earlier in the thread, Portland had an asylum influx issue, and all had to be relocated out of the Expo by 8/15, the team has the rights to the arena and it cannot be used after said date except by the tenant

Bryce Brown signed as 20th player-----had played in Sacramento's summer league team (Stockton); Maten was never cleared to be signed as earlier reported

NBA Rules prohibit discussion of future contracts, even with your own players as U/RFA, AS Milwaukee was fined 50K for revealing a proposed Antekumnpo "Supermax" contract

That's absolutely stupid. I understand not being able to discuss players under contract to other teams but why can't you discuss future contracts with players that are actually under contract to your own team ???? So players ( I'm looking at you LeBron ) can openly campaign for players on other teams but teams can't talk about players within their own organization. I HATE what the NBA has become over the last few years.:thumbd:
