I hope people on here realize that Clague was not expected to make the team this year and many on here knew that he still has his flaws that need to be ironed out. The kid has yet to play professional game yet and he's not going to have it all figured out right away.

I'm not saying he's playing well, but accept that fact that an offensive defensemen does not have the defensive game down quite yet shouldn't be alarming. Given that he's going to spend a full season with our development staff and that we are known for developing defensemen I'm not worried about him.
