Yup and when they get embarrassed in the playoffs and their top guys don’t show up again like the better part of the decade, instead of taking responsibility they’ll deflect and say they had bad puck luck or some stupid shit. They’re almost a meme of themselves at this point.

Wouldn't it be great right now if we had a 54 regular season (15 PP goals) scorer and 6 playoff (3 PP) goal powerforward that lives in the blue paint and is part of the NHL's #1 PP unit like the one they have in Edmonton?

The kind of player that thrives on dump and chase strategy and that gives 100% each shift and stirs the drink to drive team energy through effort?

A perfect playoff warrior that every team would love to have.

Doesn’t matter who is in front when the core players don’t know how to effectively move the puck around to open up shooting lanes and get pucks towards the net

Sumo Wrestler covers the whole net playing goalie. Same philosophy. Doesn't mean it will happen.

Might actually work Reaves is too much man.

I'd like to see Matthews go and screen on the PP occasionally mid PP with Nylander as the shooting threat
