Who is the top 5....Leafs need at leafs too draft one
The Leafs don't currently have a 1st round pick...
we may get one and we have a top 3 2nd round pick..
tyler biggs is a candidate (late 1st round pick)
Well as you've already seen in the Leafs section, I'm big on Colin Jacobs
None really with the position you are, maybe Seth Ambroz will be avaible, since he dropped out of the top30 of the ISS, but Im confident he will be drafted in the first round.
For the Leafs, maybe Philippe Hudon could be a good 2nd round pick.
What about a guy like Austen Brassard who will most likely go second round
I could definitely see Ambroz out of the first round at this point.
He would be my choice.
This sentence does not make a whole lot of sense.
Mark McNeill is your best bet. Now only if the Leafs had a 1st rounder...
We don't need another Brad Ross (Even though I like the Ross pick). We need to get the best player we can get.
Mark McNeill MIGHT slip to the 2nd round, highly unlikely. I saw him again last night and had another VERY strong game, despite his team losing 5-1.
The best chance for the Leafs will likely be Colin Jacobs in round 2. Think of a lower end Ryan Kesler-type.
What do people think of Boone Jenner..
Kings found an awesome player in Kyle Clifford; I wish their were more players like him.
not a power forward. rarely lays the body. Seems to blend in out there; doesnt particularly stand out.
Call up Marcel Muller - give him a shot.
Probably doesn't project to have first line offensive ability but a great two way player who can kill penalties and will be a secondline player. IMO great hockey sense with and without the puck. Works the boards well and brings the effort every night. I think he is a safe pick to play in the NHL. I'm not convinced he will fall to the second round but would love to see the Leafs grab him.
So what are the Leafs gonna trade to get back into the top 5?
At the moment, Burke is damned to trades (which won't get him into the top 5 or heck, even 10) and signing UFAs from any and everywhere, something he tends to do.
