I see Malkin as the next Viktor Kozlov. Big skilled Russian with no heart. He'll amount to nothing...

Even if Malkin plays with no heart his whole career like Kozlov I still see him becoming a better hockey player.

Malkin = Kharlamov (Summit Series)

or

Jagr/Spezza/Thornton type talent

Malkin can skate like no other, effortless, in 3 or 4 big strides in can go end to end and do everything at full speed. Has excellent vision. Many times this year, current Penguin players have missed a wide open net because Crosby put the puck on their stick so quickly. Malkin will put those in the back of the net all the time.

2006-2007 Crosby 70 goal 105 assists
Malkin 30-40 goals 40-50 assists

Clearly this poster is joking

Right?

AO P: 57G-48A-105P
SC P: 38G-53A-91P
SC P: 70G-105A-175P(2006)
EM: 30-40G 40-50A 70-90P(2006)

A 92% point increase for Crosby because of Malkin joining the team!!!?

Malkin has not demonstrated the goal scoring ability of Jagr, playmaking ability of Forsberg nor the physical play of Thornton, all those comparisons are unwarranted/justified.

The Penguins should consider themselves lucky if they can even manage to move up 2 spots in their division for 3rd next season.

Teams are not going to roll over next year for the Pens just because of the perceived and delusional awesomeness of Malkin and Crosby playing together.

‘What’s that send out last years Canadian WJC D-men, that does not make much sense’ :)

Malkin has the potential to cure cancer, but will probably top out with curing colorblindness due to the lack of a new arena in Pittsburgh.

He's sort of a mix between Pavel Bure/Todd Bertuzzi/Marty Brodeur/Gordie Howe/Brad Isbister/and Tie Domi.

Marty Brodeur?

Gee... let him play alone for a team, with the salary cap.
