One thing the NHL needs to consider is that probably 10 percent of the people who get covid become long haulers. I had a mild case of covid last March and am still dealing with long haul symptoms. Symptoms are triggered by exercise. There will be players who get sick now who will miss next season. Some might never get back to 100%.

Coaching staff getting ill is more concerning than players, specifically because of age and statistically higher likelihood of worse impact to health.

If you had a coach like Krueger miss significant time battling COVID it is going to make for a really bad headline for the league.

Hoping everyone impacted has a speedy recovery.

Age has very little impact on who gets the long haul post viral syndrome. Marco Rossi is 18 and he is out for the season with post covid syndrome.

Just spending your free time on a message board talking about a season you don't enjoy? Fascinating.
Yeah so? I still watch games and allowed to express my opinion that i dont enjoy this season and the division set ups or canceled games. Are we only supposed to post all of our positive thoughts on this board?

So the Blues can’t play the Avs. Then they can’t play the Wild. And they did absolutely nothing. Which means they can all still get it, while teams like Colorado (while resting Mack) can build some immunity and the Blues are going to get it in like 6 weeks after ALREADY being screwed out of now 5 games. So the Blues will have to make up what 11 games?

These teams should have to forfeit these games. Starting all the way back with Dallas. That would’ve been the right call.

Jesus, you act like they strategically planned all this.

Personally, I don't understand how so many people can be catching covid if they're in the bubble and don't interact outside of it.

Don't get so worked up. The Yotes will be staying in town for 2 more games.

I haven’t paid much attention until now, but it’s good they’re adjusting the schedules on the fly. I wasn’t sure that was logistically plausible on such short notice.

The Yotes were to play MN next but MN is obviously shut down, so it was very logical. I haven't looked at the long term schedule, but perhaps the Yotes have the same type of schedule and they will play MN 4 games in a row later and skip St Lou. Now when the Avs and Blues make up, who knows.

I'm guessing when all is said and done most teams in the US will need to make up some games and the NHL will push the start of the playoffs a week or so. Meanwhile Canada will be sitting on their hands.
