I can't believe the Draft is finally almost here. I thought it might be fun to post our personal rankings. Not a mock draft but your personal rankings of which order you would draft players if it were your pick to make.
I tried to make my top 30 listing of the players I thought would be better 5 years from now. After that it transitions more into just players who are my personal favorites.........

1. Byfield - He’s a potential Franchise C and ‘moves the needle’ for whomever gets him.
2. Lafreniere - Best player in the draft, but doesn’t have the upside of Byfield. Hopefully NYR disagree.
3. Stützle - For me 3-7 are so close I see teams drafting based on fit/need rather than purely BPA. I find it hard to split them. Logic tells me Stützle at 3 (just) but gut says Perfetti.

8. Askarov - Tempted to put him #3 but couldn’t due to development risk inherent with a goaltender. In terms of pure potential I think he’d be worth the #3 pick.

I’m pretty close to this, but I would swap Perfetti and Askarov, and move him up to the above tier. I don’t really have opinions after the top 12ish.

I could see it. I just see Perfetti's skating being a bigger issue than people let on. He's essentially RNH in my eyes, though I guess that's a case for moving him up a tier.
