Curious to see how everyone would construct an All Star lineup from the 2005-06 season to the current one. The idea being to build a lineup assuming everyone is at their peak season during that timeframe. So longevity isn't important, but they can only play at the level they played at for your team.

My team:

Justin Williams - Eric Staal - Cory Stillman
Alexander Semin - Rod Brind'Amour - Ray Whitney
Erik Cole - Jordan Staal - Sergei Samsonov
Tuomo Ruutu - Brandon Sutter - Scott Walker

Justin Faulk - Andrej Sekera
Joni Pitkänen - Dennis Seidenberg
Joe Corvo - Tim Gleason

Martin Gerber
Cam Ward

Yeah Wesley has to be in there. We possibly go down 0-2 to Buffalo if it wasn't for him stopping that shot in game 2 of that series. Not to mention he made some other big plays during that playoff run.

I'd go with this, possibly sneak Gleason in there. I'd also probably take Ward over Dobby. He had the numbers that season, but I don't think it was sustainable for a full season + playoffs (as evident by his play since).

The OP's directions leaves a little to interpretation though. He said.

In Khudobin's peak season he had the best save % of any Canes goalie ever. It's fair to say though, that it was only 36 games and discount it for that, but I could see how someone would pick him based on the OP's criteria. Personally, I think you have to include peak performance and some level of longevity.

Thus the qualifier I added.
