Linesmate with Guenther (and probably McBain) with protective minutes? He has the skill to make it work and that would be the opportunity he could skate into. (Was going to type walk into, but this seem more appropriate).

Really hoping he puts in the work. He could turn into a very special player, one who drives the play!

His trajectory and absolute upside at the moment puts him higher than Maccelli.

Maccelli and Jenik would've needed to flash ~ .5 ppg for me to rate them higher than Doan (but they didn't). Still like both.

Macelli had 57p in 47 games as a rookie on a bad AHL team. The kid is looking like a 2nd line version of Keller right now, and he has Keller to learn from.
