Why the hell did you have so many cars in your lifetime lol

I am 42 years old. I leased a lot! I also included my significant others cars that I had a financial interest in. I also had a few projects in there early on that went awry. Two were lost to accidents (Mustang and LSC) I wasn't at fault in either inncident. I always had two cars. A work car and normal car, fun car etc. I love cars. Always did. I love tinkering with them modding them etc...

its been great, I bought it new and have put every single km/mile on it. I have the 5.0 v8 version. The only issue I have had in 170,000 Kms or 105,000 miles was my rear diff seal went on me for some unknown reason at 25,000kms but was covered by warranty and I have had no engine/mechanical problems since. Only other thing I have an issue with is my tailgate being tough to unlatch but that is bc my gf accidently jumped her standard car into my tailgate while it was down.

which brings me to a question for the forum. When you park a standard do you just use the emergency break or do you leave it in gear?

Depending on what you need a truck for it may be a better option to get a mid-size truck like a Colorado or Tacoma. I would shy away from the new gm 1500 series if you are looking for a working truck. Take a tape measure with you and you will be confused as to how shallow the new box is on the GM chassis. Also I am not sure about the newer model fords but the clearance on my FX4 has been amazing for how bad of a winter and how much snow we have had.

Emergency brake. If i'm on a hill ill leave it in gear and apply the brake.

I like the Mazda a lot but the interior was garbage and needs redone. Also it can't turn for crap.

I've also had a handful of different Yamaha TTR's and a Warrior ATV if that counts

TY Stan. Loving it so far. :yo::nod:

I've heard they've had a lot of reported transmission issues with the new Tacos, my dad has a '13 and loves it, I pray that's not the case with yours.

My cars have been:
2002 Toyota 4Runner Sport (totaled with 259,000 miles)
1998 Toyota 4Runner (sold with 206,000 miles)
2011 Lexus ES 350 (currently 80,000 miles on it, bought with 55,000)

Bolded is my current vehicle but I am constantly looking to get back into a 4Runner. Preferably a 4th gen 6 cylinder but if I can find a clean 3rd gen I'd do it in a heartbeat, only problem is being in MA they're all rust buckets.

Out of these the Tempo was by far the best car. By far.

I miss my Tempo

I miss having my Tempo under the Tempo in the winter

The M5 is obviously the most enjoyable to drive, but I really enjoyed my FJ Cruiser for a while. It was nice not ever having to worry about what the weather (WV mountains) might do or where the road might take me. It's just too bad the FJ sucked at absolutely everything on regular ol asphalt.
