Tough one. Depends at what price. I didn't follow his career much, I know he was touted as a very good defensive guy, but he has been injured more often than not. I wonder what he is at that point, a reliable top 4? I could be wrong, but I kind of see him as a Adam Larsson. Again, depends on the price tag, but he might be injured earlier than expected... - 50/50 in my case, so far, can't decide. lol

He's better than Kulak but only plays about 40 games a year because of health issues.

Way way higher IQ, Murray’s always played w poise & error free defense, he’s also quite mobile - issue has always been staying healthy.

He was quite healthy this past season playing 85% of games.

FWIW - He used to be Savard’s D partner w CBJ.

Thought he was already signed by Detroit (confused him with Ryan Murphy).

Someone will sign him, he'll probably be disappointed if he's looking for term though.

I'd rather look for more of a true PMD. Murray plays a good , simple defense but he doesn't help the 2 PP and he doesn't bring an element to the mix we don't already have.
