Plus/minus question

I'm a little embarrassed to have to ask this question, but last night after my son's midget game, he asked me about an empty-netter his team gave up. I know the goalie of record does NOT have the EN goal count against his GAA, but what about plus/minus for the skaters?

Technically, it's an 'even strength' situation, and should register as a minus, but I was wondering if there was an exception for this situation? Same thing with the team that scores with the goalie pulled...do they get a plus?

Thanks in advance for any clarification.

The goalie has a seperate stat ENG which tallies any goals against in which he/she has been pulled. The players on the ice when scored against with an empty netter do receive a tally in the plus/minus stats. The defense recieve a (-)tally and the opponents who scored receive a (+) tally.
