Can't believe Jordan Staal is so high, especially as this post is probably all about points. Staal is also likely 2-3 years away from setting foot in the NHL.

I'm assuming this is probably for a fantasy prospects draft or something. In that case, if you can't get Malkin or Kessell, I would probably try to take someone somewhat safer/more proven, like O'sullivan or Fehr. IMO there's not much at all between O'sullivan and Ryan on my list.

Yeah, I can't comment on the players because I haven't seen them all, but I'm surprised to see everyone putting Kopitar near the bottom. I'm hoping it's simply because nobody has seen him.

Yeah, it's for a fantasy prospect draft, I have the number one and three overall picks. So I'll get Malkin and I can probably get Kessell because the guy with the number two pick said he's going with either Jack Johnson or O'Sullivan.

If you're taking Malkin first, and Johnson goes second, you avoid Kessel and take Erik Johnson, no doubt in my mind. Took an elite forward prospect already, now add the defenceman to the fold. Plus the fact that I'm not a real big fan of Kessel's from what I've seen of him. Malkin, Johnson and Johnson are the top 3.

Where's the love for Corey Schneider anyway? He was one of the best goalies in the world juniors (behind Pogge and Rask of course) and has put up unbelievable numbers in college this year.
