I said this in the game thread but my god, putting out the fourth line on the last shift of the second period for a defensive zone draw might have been the worst thing Hynes has ever done and that's saying something. You know the Flyers are gonna have a top line on the ice in the offensive zone at the end of a period! Heck you know they're also going to have a scoring line on after our PP is over but he keeps throwing out the fourth line then too.

It takes a special kind of bad to get out linematched in a home game

It's like he's daring Shero to fire him

Seriously, how bad do things have to get from him to be gone?

2019-2020 John Hynes through 11 games: 2-5-4, 8 points, -13 goal differential
2010-2011 John MacLean: 3-7-1, 7 points, -17 goal differential

Disgraceful start.

He puts them out there after every f***ing goal and they proceed to get hemmed in and ice the puck nearly every time.

How do you lose line matching at home?!? Every night!!!!

Some perspective

Laviolette lasted 3 games before the Flyers fired him in 13-14(dumb move tbh)

Denis Savard 4 games in 08-09 but the Hawks hired Q and well the rest is history there

Todd Richards got 7 games in 15-16 before Columbus axed him and brought in Torts

Oh nvm, just saw you were posting a 'first eleven games' comparison. Well yeah when you put it that way...

Yeah I feel like he's using that 4th line as his "go-to" shut down line for big defensive minutes - except they're.. well, not capable of that.

There's no way they only had a -11 goal differential under MacLean at thirteen games under .500. The last three games alone they had a -12 differential.
That was through the first 11 games, and it was -17.

I don’t understand what he sees in them. They don’t create offense. They don’t play defense.

They just get hemmed in and ice pucks.

Wood is playing terrible.

Hayden is a saboteur. I cant even imagine how terrible Boqvist must look in practice for this guy to play over him.

Rooney is actually solid as a 4th-liner.

Can we leave Hynes behind in Carolina just like the Panthers did with Gallant? Lmao

Hopefully, I'd love to see us come back from this 5 game road trip without this coaching staff. Maybe we can leave each one of them in different cities.
