Lol... Bergevin is easily the worst GM in the league. After all this time, 2012-present, the deepest the Habs have gotten under him is the conference finals in his 2nd year

If it wasn’t for the Habs language requirement and the fact Molson is likely the only person alive who knows less about GMing a hockey team than Bergevin, he’d have been fired years ago

Not sure the language requirement is really in play anymore -- that fanbase just wants to win. Anyone signed to a high-profile job in MTL is getting expensive language lessons so they can falter their way through an interview. Molson may be the bigger impediment.

Not if we’re playing PLD on the top line wing...
We need a 1-2 punch of Scheifele and PLD down the middle to maximize their effect.
I don't think it's likely he stays there after getting up to speed, unless that line is producing at an extroardinary rate.

Fact: The farthest that we have gotten under Chevy's tenure here - 2011 to present - is one time to the conference final.

true, but that isn't a very fair comparison. Bergevin inherited a pretty strong team, they made it to the conference finals in his second year, and it's basically been down hill since 2015. Chevy took over a really weak roster and troubled team, and he shaped them up for a playoff appearance in 4 years and a conference finals in 7 years and that conference finals is still in pretty recent memory. The Jets roster has a lot more upside and a larger window, especially with Carey Price in the twilight of his career with no apparent replacement. So who has been more successful, or who is worse if we want to look at it that way? Chevy is going to have much longer leash than Bergevin has right now, I'm sure.
