Exactly you probably have to adjust to Seattle either taking Byron or Drouin with some tangible convincing from MB. That brings the cap space to probably around 4-5 million once a depth D who shouldn't cost a lot is signed. But I stress this again cap he'll awaits if Habs resign both Tatar and Danault. But resigning one to a reasonable contract is absolutely fine

Yeah, there's no guarantee MB will want to pay the price Francis will ask for to take on Byron or Drouin, and we may have to lose Tatar.

I always wondered how much better Tuna would do away from Gally and Danault, being a streaky offensive winger and forced to play tough minutes with the other two. Yet whenever he gets separated from them even in the short spurts, he tends to suck lol.

Well he was our leading scorer last year and is 2nd in points for forwards to only Toffoli. He's the least of my concerns.

Exactly, all while playing with PD and Gally. You would think he would be even better in a pure primary offensive role with offensive guys, which he hasn't played nearly as well. That's the point I am trying to make.

I think if we do get in playoffs(?), we stand a decent chance against Toronto. As shown by Monday's night win. Toronto seems to be a finesse team and after Romanov hit on Morgan, Anderson also laid out a nice hit earily in the game. They were not the same. I think it was early in season, perhaps our first game Weber manhandled Matthews and sent him crying after the game. Toronto was lucky to get out of that game with 2 points as we were the better team.

I understand Foligno is just what the doctor ordered for them. As he is a gamer. I have a feeling we may see a good battle? Especially, if we get Price and Gallagher back for playoffs and Caufield is here by then.
