Well, I remember there is a really special Vancouver fan (with a backwards name) that really enjoyed us being in last place. I think we should honor him and dedicate our playoff avatars to him. So something with backward names, how the Blues suck. How we are overrated and could never win the cup.

Everyone takes one of his quotes followed by a picture of a winning blues side, scoring blues player, etc. Or something like that.

Lets make him our playoff mascotte. ;-)

We could have a “Parayko for Nylander” or “Petro for Nylander+Zaitsev” theme and cover just about everything lmao

Or the Sabres fan who said ROR wouldn’t have as many points as TT, Sobotka, and Berglund combined? But as much as I’d love to, I having a feeling going after a specific person might be frowned upon around here. Could be wrong though. Either way I like it

You can also swap in "Brayden Schenn is just a powerplay specialist", something with Parayko for Nylander+Zaitsev or "is a 3rd pairing defenseman", "etteduag ot reseob is a closet Blues fan", etc.

I like this “tale of two seasons” theme.

1st frame: a picture of a specific Blues player looking dejected (Tarasenko for example)
2nd frame: “Lazy declining Russian! Trade him!”
3rd frame: Tarasenko celebrating
4th frame “Top 5 RW in the league”
5th frame: playoff logo, “Tale of Two Halves” or something

Petro: “bad captain, trade him for picks!” “#1 D-man”
Sunny “2 f***ing goals” “top 6 center”
Steen: “tearing apart the locker room!” “Veteran depth”
Maroon: “he was born in STL!” “He was born in STL!”
Thomas: “supposed to be traded to MTL” “still plays for the Blues”
ROR: “#1 Center” “#1 Center, Selke finalist”
Binnington: “AHL” “Do I look nervous?”

As much as I enjoy any bit of misery that the Blues success brings that Vancouver bozo, I don’t think we should base our avatars off them. That would be just as petty and pathetic as him barging into every thread even tangentially related to the Blues and bashing them. Just my opinion.

Barbashev - lazy Russian
Gunnarsson - can’t stay healthy

I like this for the forum insiders, but I think it may not be taken as well by people who don’t details of the O’Reilly trade as much. It could offend or make light of some people who have actually been touched by cancer. Just a thought, but maybe mine is a minority view.

I thought about that as my grandma is battling colon cancer right now, but I also laugh at the dark in life and she would too if she understood the reference.

I could see that not being everyone’s view though.
