Just did mine. Right click over image you want to use, and select 'copy image location'. Go to your profile, and select avatar. Go to browse, and then paste the image. Press okay. Should work.

Thanks friend! I had to save it to my phone and modify it and resave it as a jpg, it wouldn't upload as the original png for whatever reason.
