I don't think he played any playoff games, but Barry Pederson technically won a Stanley Cup in 1991 with Pittsburgh, which just feels extremely random.

Mark Napier -- Edmonton 1985

Kent Nilsson -- Edmonton 1987

Gary Leeman -- Montreal 1993

Miroslav Satan -- Pittsburgh 2009

Just had a sad face emoji reaction to Nilsson and Satan. Nilsson was a Flame and always should be considered one. Satan ended on bad terms with the Sabres, but boy were there moments on multiple deep playoff runs where I saw him passing the cup to Hasek. 97, 98, and even 01. Thought it was gonna happen.

Off the top of my head;

Chris Chelios: He's a Blackhawk to me, but won Cups in Montreal and Detroit. Didn't win one in Chicago.

Ray Bourque: A Bruin, but won a Cup with Colorado. Zero Cups in Boston.

Brett Hull: I think everyone sees him as a Blue, but won Cups in Dallas and Detroit. Never won in St. Louis.

Steve Larmer: A Blackhawk to me, but won the Cup in New York. Never won one in Chicago.

Who else?

Hull in Dallas gets remembered a lot due to the winning goal.

can’t think of a washington one off the top of my head

With Bouwmeester its interesting. He actually played about 20 more games with STL vs FLA, but 2 seasons more. (missed half of the 2018 season so his GP is low for an 8 season guy). His career took off in a way, sure he made the 2004 WCH as a Panther but he made the 2014 Olympic team as a Blue and entered the Triple Gold Club as one. But I tend to remember him as a Panther for some reason.

Care to explain Bouwmeester?

He played more seasons with St. Louis than either Calgary or Florida.

Neal Broten with the NJD.
Joe Kocur on the NYR.
Tyler Bozak with the Blues.
And to a lesser extent, Phil Kessel on the Penguins.

Geoff Courtnall is another brief Oiler who won Cup with them in 1988.

I don´t know if Dave Hannan is remembered from any team specially or at all, but he played 841 games in NHL from which 752 with Maple Leafs, Sabres and Penguins. But he did win Stanley Cups with Oilers and Avalanche.

Tony Esposito, Montreal 1968-69.

He dressed for the final series against St. Louis but didn't see any action.

Where for some reason he wore Leatherface’s mask.

Hannan actually scored the game-winning goal in the third period of Edmonton's win in game one of the 1988 Finals over Boston. But, like Courtnall, he didn't see a lot of ice-time. (In fact, I think he was a healthy scratch in some games.)

Nieuwendyk had 9 seasons (577 games) and a Cup in Calgary, 7 seasons (442 games) and a Cup/Conn Smythe in Dallas, but only a brief season+ (94 games) stint with New Jersey. Nieuwendyk got hurt in the ECF and didn't play in the 2003 SCF.

I thought of Dave Lumley and the Canadiens, but I guess he didn't. He only played 3 regular season games for Montreal in '79.

But certainly not many people think of Lumley as a Hab.

Another player from the 94 Rangers....Glenn Anderson. Certainly viewed as an Oiler....he got in 12 regular season games, then played all the games in the playoffs.

What's the criteria of the thread - not spending a lot of time on the cup winning team or a more forgotten member of the team? For example, Pronger & Niedermeyer didn't spend a long time with the Ducks, but were key in them winning. Iconic memories like Hull's "no goal" or "Win one for Ray" are tied to that particular championship, same with team captains.

I like some lesser known stops, like Weight, Emery, etc.
