It is, but it's hard to deny the impact of those players as well as their importance to the franchise. Not saying you’re wrong or right, that’s just a lot.
Too much of their time was spent away from the Wild. Mikko has been here his entire career. Only #9 imo.Minnesota: 9, 11, 20
3 80 point seasons and a bunch of average 60 point seasons are worthy of your number getting retired?Tavares with NYI. He was a saint for putting up with so little, while taking a sweetheart contract in his prime.

Olli Jokinen - Florida Panthers
91 should be hung up to the rafters on LI.
I must state preamble that I HATE the concept of retiring numbers. Especially numbers between 1 and 19.
That said, I don't like this idea of retiring his number at all!! I hope like hell they don't do it! Koivu is a good, decent player, but he's not an all-time great. Retiring his number would just set the bar lower than it already is. Besides, number 9 is retired in way too many teams as it is. Unless a player is a modern-day Gretzky, I don't want number 9 retired anywhere again. In fact, the only single digit number deserving of being retired right now is Ovechkin.
I said you can make a case, which you could.
Joseph especially.
Might as well retire Palmateer and Vaive’s numbers as well, because why not.
as a Wings fan I would be against retiring Datsyuk's number after him walking out on an active contract
Zetterberg sure
