Malkin is terrible at getting away with penalties. He slashes and makes it super obvious and then gets called for a minor penalty.

He gets called for it all the time. Malkin is literally not the player this thread us about.

Look for players that have low penalty minute totals that should be much higher.
Can confirm as a Rangers fan. I can’t count the amount of times Malkin lost his temper and took a dumb penalty. That’s what it seemed like anyway.

He’s due for one at any second right now.

Edit: lmao Rangers broadcast literally just echoed my sentiments.

Opened this thread expecting to see Giordano's and Tkachuk's names. Leaving only half way satisfied.

Tkachuk has an openly dirty reputation though, even though he hasn't been in trouble in a while.

And LOL at how defensive some pens fans are regarding Crosby. It's not like we are saying he's Marchand, but to some of them, it's as if we might as well be saying he's Matt Cooke.

Aho’s not even on the same plane as the other players named so far. What’s the dirtiest thing he’s ever done?
Almost every game something happens but he is so soick with it. One of the most famous is his weak cross check against Kane. It’s not about the power it’s more about timing. Don’t get penalties from those.

Simply name players who do ratty thing get away with it.
One of my favourite players Sebastian Aho (Car) is a prime example.
Zdeno f***ing Chara

Wow, Chara just cross-checked a player in the face/throat!

Refs: Oh, it´s because he is taller than the other players, his arms just happen to be up in that area all the time. I´ll allow It!!

He actually, shockingly, got suspended for that one, unlike this one:

earlier in the 18/19 season.

He only played 55 games, plus 4 in the bubble, last season, which probably explains why he hasn't injured anyone recently. Don't worry though, I'm sure he'll get back on it soon, and we'll hear the usual excuses about how "he's protecting himself" and "he doesn't have a history".

At least he was genuinely regretful after the the match penalty against the Flyers:

Evgeni Malkin: Penguins star suspended for nasty stick swing

Is this a joke? Malkin got punched in the back of the head first, then his swing barely made contact with the goon flyer.

This one?

Again, not even in the ballpark of the other stuff in this thread.
