Tavares is the obvious answer here. Could also see Hoffman having a big year for some reason. Not really sure what to expect from Karlsson honestly, going to be quite an adjustment not being forced to carry your team on one foot. Hoping to see Hamilton shutup some of his haters here in Calgary.

Training camp is tough to gauge but on the Flames I'm loving Hanifin and Czarnik so far, I'm still waiting on Neil and Lindholm.

The Avs social media and broadcast team have already scheduled Matt Calvert's jersey retirement night. I expect him to be a slightly better Blake Comeau.

Tatar was always trash, sorry Montreal.

Even when he had 29 goals in Detroit? We could use trash like that.

13-14 0.53 ppg 0.26 gpg
14-15 0.68 ppg 0.35 gpg
15-16 0.56 ppg 0.26 gpg
16-17 0.56 ppg 0.30 gpg
17-18 DET 0.45 ppg 0.26 gpg VGK 0.30 ppg 0.20 gpg

Pretty consistent 20-20 player except last year in Vegas.

I can see Galchenyuk having a 30-30 60pts season this year. Especially if he's with Keller and has a good goal scorer flanking him on the other side.

Also i can see Patches putting up 35g+ with Vegas simply because he's going to have an actual C to play with

Pacioretty looks terrific in Vegas so far. Already showing good chemistry with Stastny, Tuch, and Haula. Whoever ends up being the second winger on that line is gonna gel well with him it seems.

And every interview he's done he seems really excited and happy to be here.

Yeah I didn't mean that insult to be directed at his stat columns, he just plays like Boedker, soft and invisible most of the game.

He's been pretty implicated in the preseason games so far, hopefully he turned a new leaf and it continues.

I can't imagine why given where he came from.
