They had to check their bank accounts to make sure all their salaries hit their accounts and the league didn't try to intervene and take the 18million back.

Oof...
This kind of stuff really makes me think. How many Lightning fans who were there, sitting in the arena, after almost 2 years of lockdown were watching the final few seconds of the game or Cup celebration behind their recording phone screen? It's almost like being witness to something has no value if you can't record yourself doing it. Even weirder when the actual players fall into the trap.

Doesn't matter, they probably got some cool videos
It's not like they are doing it during the initial celebration

Back in my days the cup came in horse drawn carriages, now this metal boat with 4 wheels carries it around. What shall we expect in the next decade? The game has changed so bla bla bla bla vaccine 5G chip

Growing up, we still called it a chalice and it usually just held the blood of the enemy we conquered the land of. No idea why the blades are on their feet and they play a game for it.

Question: where are the player's keeping their phones?

Do they have a basket by the bench so they cant insta tiktok in the chance they win the cup? or do they have a trainer fetch them for them.

Seems weird to be honest. Enjoy the moment with the people you achieved it with, you can get in touch with everyone else after.

Did people complain like this when Owen Nolan was messing around on the ice in Salt Lake City in 2002 with his Sony camcorder after winning gold?
