In the more immediate future, Grundstrom because he seems to fill a need.

In the longer term, I've got to agree with many that SDA's camp is what it looks like when a team gets the steal of the draft. I remember some young players looking really great in their first camp then not so great later on. A few examples are Chris Didomenico (badly broken leg), Peter Svoboda (not the Montreal player, post-concussion/health issues) and even Luca Cereda looked very promising at his first camp only to develop heart issues later.

Brooks will be a player coaches love.

He is pretty much starting with the Marlies healthy and likely going to surprise lots of posters here.

Not flashy but just plays smart. I expect a great year for him with the Marlies!

Sandin - I think if what i'm seeing is right, this might be Rielly's partner in two years, all kinds of smarts and talent

Liljegren - needs to get stronger but he's cool, calm and collected under pressure

Bracco - smart skilled and will certainly end up being a top 12 forward

Brooks - he looks better than he did back in the CC run and he looked damn good then

SDA - a mini Mitch?

There are 4 clear-cut promisng upcoming prospects in our system IMO:
1. Lilijegren
2. SDA
3. Sandin
4. Bracco

Rielly - Dermott*
Sandin - Lilijegren
Rosen/Borgman/xxx - Zaitsev/Durzki

I have no idea how our future Forward lines will be since we have fifty thousand great wingers/potential-wingers in Marner, Nylander, Kapanen, Johnsson, Bracco, Brown, SDA (C -> W), Hyman, Grundstrom, Leivo, etc.

Carl Grundstrom has been pretty quiet, which sucks because he really stood out to me last year, hopefully he can turn things around over the course of the week.

William Nylander has been quiet, is it just me or has he gotten smaller? Also I remember him shooting right... (this is getting real annoying)

Seymon Der-Arguchentev whos name I 100% spelled wrong has been very impressive, especially as a 17 year old 3rd round pick from this years draft

Jeremy Bracco has looked great

Andreas Borgman has been EXTREMELY impressive, I really liked this guy last year and hope he gets the chance to play this year

Dymtro Tymashov has some promise, and should end up in the NHL at some point whether with us or another team (likely another team)

Pierre Engvall has been a nice suprise

Justin Holl doesnt look like an NHL player, but who knows, maybe he steps it up

Emerson Clark is a mule out there, props to him for working his ass off every shift

Hard to project because look at those mixed squads from two poor NHL teams....Sens and Sabres
Tymashov looked confident. Can you he be scorer instead of just a water bug type player
Bracco, looks great occasionally, when he has the pick nears the net, but I haven't been impressed by his overall game.
Engvall looks like the Big M from the 1960s.
Borgman and Rosen have looked good. Can either/both step up and be competent NHLers? Sure would help the Leafs this year and next year with Gardiner and Hainsey gone.
Large portions are of the games have been unwatchable. It's preseason.

For me, it's Jeremy Bracco. I think he'll match the production of guys like Nylander or Kadri during their time in the AHL.
Honorable mention would be Sandin from the little I have seen so far.

I guess a few of them will make the big club - but here's who I'm most excited about...
