I thought Liverpool were fine. They clearly slowed the game down on purpose after the 1-0. Leicester weren't really able to mount much of a push in that time anyway and Liverpool ended up scoring the 2nd on a set piece. That's more sustainable winning football than playing gung ho 'heavy metal football' over 90 minutes every match of the season.
Now these opening 10-12 minutes of the 2nd half have actually been bad by Liverpool. No ball retention, sloppy in their attacking play, passive in defense.
Oh they've been wretched today. They are always bad in the early game.
This is reminding a lot of those games last season in April when they were trying to save gas. Its not been pretty, but we arent far removed from when LFC couldn't win an ugly game to save their life
