However if City win the FA Cup then 7th place is an EL spot but qualifying, so they will start the campaign in July and have to go through three rounds, lately that's been a struggle for English clubs (4 out of the last 5 failed, only one which succeeded was Everton when they beat my Hajduk in the playoffs of course )
