25 of a possible 27points for Ole. Ruining Jose one day at a time.

For all the Pogba and Martial talk, don’t forget Herrera who has been massive, was completely buried on the bench all season.
Actually I said Herrera was a good player (les Habs too BTW) and plenty of even United fans told he was no more than a depth player. I'm not even talking about a certain poster lol.

Honestly I probably have posts where I said top 4 was impossible no matter who came in becuase of how far back they were.

They’ve made up 12 points on Chelsea and Arsenal in 9 games (likely 9 after arsenal plays today).

I just didn’t see that as possible even if they had magically poached pep, or Klopp, or whoever.
Of course, but someone actually MOCKED us saying Mou was the reason because that someone thought United didn't have top 4 talent. And he mocked us saying "Now comes top 4" because Mou was fired.

Firmino was outstanding today.

Also was nice game from Keita. Hopefully he kicks on from here with some confidence.

Also the midfield is so much better with Wijnaldum (beautiful goal today). This trio should be our first choice.

Lacazette has 10 non penalty goals and 6 assists in 1715 minutes.
As a comparison, Auba has 14 non penalty goals a 4 assists in 2008 minutes and Firmino has 8 non penalty goals and 5 assists in 2040 minutes.

He's been really good this season. Easily the team's best player.

For some reason our manager likes to sub him off at minute 60 or leave him on the bench too often.

Who? Who?? Who???
Moi. I still stand by that. Herrera has been better with the coaching change, but I think a lot of his praise is being blended in with Pogba's insane Ballon D'Or form.

I’m pretty sure I called him a depth player. I knew he was good but he was never consistent. That was always my problem with him. He really hasn’t changed much in his game just the consistency level. Now he isn’t randomly getting a red every 4-5 games.

Neglected to comment on the game earlier. Wanted to note that Fabinho was excellent again. The first goal was also not offside.

Arms don't factor into those decisions. Finally the referees get something right.

I don't think that line is drawn where the last defenseman is.

In any case, close 50/50 call, tough for the linesman. And champions get the 50/50 calls.
I still see Pool winning the league. They've had too much luck to fail.

The Brighton game today has made me a little nervous. The cushion is no longer there and the teams form has taken a major fit recently.

What once seemed like an easy bid for survival is about to come more scrappy.

That is not offside. Not even that close. For offside it's only the part of the body that can score so from shoulder to toe. Arm does not count.

It doesn’t look offside but saying “not even that close” is laughable.

The line looks like it might be a hair off and you’d need to see the next frame or two to see how long the ball stays on the crossers foot.

Either way it’s understandable why a side official would miss it becuase it’s basically impossible to tell definitively at full speed.
