Wolves are hanging in there man.
Kinda surprised United haven't made a sub yet. Especially James who has the card and already a foul since then.
They need to hurry up with it if they're gonna do it. United can't afford to be dropping points by their 2nd game
James' limitations are really showing now
Lingard is so bad. Just so so bad.
The Molineux is a tough place to play. Would be a decent result if they draw.
I'm far more concerned with how they've looked in the second half than actually dropping the points. This has basically been a game from last year in the second half. No urgency, sloppy play, etc.
this take is bad
He should stick to the clothing line. The football thing isn't for him. Though to be fair, the clothes are hideous too.
Lingard is a perfectly fine squad player, he just shouldn't be getting big minutes and starting.
Sums it up well because if this is how they're gonna play they can expect to get lost in the pack quickly. Depending on Chelsea they could finish as far down as 6th
Also another entry in the "Moss is a brutal official" book. Clear as day foul on James there.
I’d love to see the Portuguese national team development program find a late winner here.
When's the last time United hit a big switch of play or a ball over the top?
Play has been so static and slow this half.
Also, OGS should have made these subs 15 minutes ago. No reason to wait until the 89th minute.
imo he'd be fine if we had some creative players in instead of McTominay and James
I think the last time I saw them with a pulse was their rally vs Newcastle that saved Mourinho's job for about 8 weeks
Yea they had the penalty to win it and couldn't make it happen. Can't say Wolves didn't deserve the draw though.
Bull**** game. Lingard no where near good enough, McTominay not good enough, Shaw not good enough, James not good enough.
I watched the game off and on, but from what I've gathered... Man United wasn't good enough.
and the only one that actually matters: Pogba not good enough
Doesn’t help when you have three chances to finish the game. Or when you have to be covering for your left back because of a player that couldn’t cut it at Aston Villa. Or when the backline has the possession and that’s it.
How was Pogba not good enough? Yeah he missed the penalty and that sucks. I don’t know what else he’s supposed to do in that game though.
First half was fine. They controlled play and had a few dangerous chances. Martial just miscontrolled a ball or he would have been in for an easy second.
Second half was last year all over again outside of a couple of nice individual runs (one by Pogba to draw a pen and a couple on the other side). Some crosses came from out wide but they never felt like they were going to be remotely dangerous and United didn't try to stretch the field at all despite having James and Rashford as wings both of whom could easily beat their man for pace.
