Well, getting played off the pitch by Burnley is pretty embarrassing.
Yea that’s a pretty deserved red.
No longer watching, but Twitter chatter is that it was an appallingly brutal tackle. That bad?
It was pretty bad. No ball and scissors the leg. Deserved red.
How the heck doesn’t Laporte get booked for that lol?
It wasn’t the worst tackle you’ll ever see, but it was pretty bad.
They hand out trophies January 1st?
They don't, but a team can lose one in this December/January period.
What a set up from Rashford for the Pogba goal.
What a run and pass by Rashford. And what a finish by Pogba.
It’s crazy that United has dominated the ball but Rashford is the only one that has looked dangerous on the ball.
They 2 and a half games back, with a game against LFC coming up. They haven't lost anything yet.
Despite looking pretty good offensively United always look very suspect defensively. We desperately need a new CB in this window.
City are still very capable of winning the title. There's still 18 games to play.
Bournemouth looking more dangerous as the game goes on. Lucky to still be ahead there.
Also yeah that play by Rashford on the goal was super nice.
It was more a shot at how quickly people dramatically make declarations. City were the greatest ever, mere months later it’s is Liverpool the greatest ever? Pep taught England the game, and now it’s Klopp!
I guess Pogba is silencing his critics.
Pogba is one of if not the most talented player in the PL on pure talent. His problem has always been consistency.
Thursday will be the biggest Premier League game in Liverpool history. If Man City don't actually outright win , and given Liverpool's schedule for the next handful of games , they could build an insurmountable lead and pile more pressure on the other top teams .its starting to get real for the Reds .Thursday ..." D-Day" for the Reds
That easily could have been a red for young. Really stupid challenge.
Pogba is just proving further Mourinho is an idiot
Pretty much this.
3 games in with a 'new manager boost' and against three pretty easy teams wont silence anyone if he doesn't keep that level up long term. He's always had the tools.
The other thing is he has more freedom. Under Mou he was forced into more of a DM than anything else. At least in the first few games he’s been almost a AM.
Also watching these three games, RB is United’s biggest problem that needs to be addressed. RW is still a problem but Lingard has looked good and Alexis should get a few games there.
ManU is playing so much better without Mourinho. What shame he had to be let go, I was hoping for the return of Pogba.
If they don't win Thursday they basically have.
