There’s just zero creativity offensively when a team remotely plays defensively.

It’s the same as under Mourinho. A bunch of players playing individually without much plan for how they link together.

So many crosses into dangerous areas with on one making a run to them. No creative movement to try to get behind the defensive with overlapping runs or quick one-twos.

If they’re able to hit on the counter the individual skill can make up for that, but it can’t do it against a set defense near as well.

Also, Lindeloff is the weakest arial defender I’ve ever seen. He’s repeatedly getting abused in the air.

United since April started is getting the results of a team battling relagation. Averaging less than 1 point a game their last 11 (2-4-5). Small sample size but that is just attrocious. They never have had a stretch this bad under Moyes, LvG, or Mourinho
