Pickard but this was incredibly close and it was a really tough decision. I see Pickard as a safer pick while Aitto is more of a boom or bust type of guy. Either Aitto will be really good or a back-up/AHLer while I believe that Pickard will be an average starter.

It's too soon to say at this point. They've both looked good in the games so far. I think that Aitto has been more spectacular during his good moments but Pickard has been more consistently good. Could go either way but both have the potential to be NHL starters in the future if all goes well which is exciting to have in our system.

Aittokallio. He's a treat to watch and has higher upside, however Pickard is a very sound positional goalie.

I see both of these guys being Aebi types. But then again, goalies always surprise good or bad in the pros.

It's not like we don't have Lando and Walker right now.

Also, I think Aitto has the higher potential while Pickard is more likely to reach a 1b/2 role as a NHL goaltender.

They're mixing great performances with weak performances, something that I guess should be expected with young goalies during their first pro season.

"This week Pickard. Last week Aittokallio." should have been an option.

I have to go with Aittokallio. It was close though, both have impressed me so far. I just think that Aittokallio just has that extra something.
