do one or both of the following:

1 - for each of the thirty teams, list who you believe is the best prospects outside of the team's top 15

2 - pick a couple prospects outside their team's top 15 (no more than one from each team you list) that you would love to add to your own fav team's group of prospects, and why / what they add to the depth

ok.............. GO

:edit: of course when i say top fifteen, i mean by hf standars

for example, as a colorado fan, i'd like to add cam paddock to the organization from the penguins. in junior, he was a complete player with speed, offense, physical play, fighting, leadership, and defense..

imo, he could develop into a player similar to hinote, however with better hands and a better puck control game... i would really like to see him down the line on the avs fourth line (maybe third) creating energy with his speed and forecheck

For the flames:

David VanderGulik

Think he could be a good offensive guy in the future for the flames...

Also Greg Moore who was traded to nyr was a solid prospect...I like Chris Simon, but was also high on Moore.

Anaheim - Nate Saunders- Big and rugged defensive defenseman (with a little upside)
Atlanta - Scott Lehman- good defenceman in all situation
Boston - Ben Walter- Good all around player
Buffalo - Artem Kriukov- Needs to find his game, but if he does
Calgary - Richie Rigier- Rather Smallish, but will overcome that with talent and a hard work
Carolina - Antti Jokela has a shot at miking a good nhl starter...but more probably will stay in Finland
Chicago - Matt Keith The kid can put up pts
Colorado - Richard Demen-Willaume has some potentiel to become a good all around D-men
Columbus - Trevor Hendrixx- The guy can put up pts, is good defensively, Hits and even fights at will... What else can U ask from a 9th rounder :dunno:
Dallas - Raymond Sawada- Will his big numbers translate in the NHL probably not, but could bring some of it :dunno:
Detroit - Drew MacIntyre has a long way to go, but always adapted well at every level so far
Edmonton - Roman Tesliuk steady defenceman, good all around game
Florida - Josh Olson- Taticek being top 15 I'd go with the next best thing
Los Angeles - Tim Gleason Great potentiel, would have picked Baier if eligible
Minnesota - Clayton Stoner Nothing exceptionnal, but he shoes flaws in his game
Montreal - Chris Heino-Lindberg- That guy could end up being a legitimate Number one in the NHL
Nashville - Simon Gamache- Got great wheels and is all offense, could use a more complete package though
New Jersey - Tyler Eckford Big and showed some upside potentiel
New York (I) - Wes O'Neill- Great potentiel, has ALL the tools to make it big
New York (R) - Bruce Graham Nice blend of size n skill, is still very raw, needs to refine is game
Ottawa - Mattias Karlsson Another tough rugged D-man
Philadelphia - R.J. Anderson- Could become a very good PP quarterback
Phoenix - William Engasser has lots of offensive upsides
Pittsburgh - Patrick Bartschi - Great Ice vision, good offensive skills, great attitude
St. Louis - Lee Stempniak- A great potntiel, for being rated so low :dunno:
San Jose - Nolan Schaefer- Has big guys in front of him, but has the Talent
Tampa Bay - Albert Vishnyakov- has steal potentiel written all over him
Toronto - Robert Earl- can he overcome size issue... I think so
Vancouver - Julien Ellis-Plante- Jason King is still a prospect and not ranked...I don't think so
Washington - Nolan Yonkman has the size, the Skating, the grit..but dosn't seems to be able to put it all together :dunno:

Word to the wise folks. Don't tell Patty who you like if your in a keeper league with him. I raved about Klubertanz play last year in Green Bay and he traded up and took him 3 picks before me!! Watching him with the Badgers now makes me even angrier that I opened my mouth.

He couldn't get Karsums though :)

You can't pick Karsums, he is exactly at 15 (although he should be higher....)

Topi Jaakola was Joni Pitkanen's defensive partner in Finland.
Petr Taticek
Drew Bagnall
Martin Tuma
Martin Lojek
Josh Olson
Vince Bellissimo

BEST OF THEM ALL ASIDE FROM TATICEK:

Victor Uchevatov: is a beast who kills people with monster hits.

Yeah but does that make him better than guys like Taticek and Olson just because he can hit. Taticek while considered by many as a bust is the best of them all.

Sorry buddy. Ya told me a good deal in advance about the kid (maybe early winter) and the more n more I read bout him, the more he grew on me...you just gave me too much time heheheh. I knew he wasn't gonna last with your 3rd rounder. Ya can have him for Tuks tho (don't wanna see Stewarts name thrown out :D )

PS: if its any consolation, I remember feeling kinda bad I moved up right before you to take him...but that feeling subsided when I got an awesome player :yo:

I added Taticek in after.

In order:

Taticek
Uchevatov
Olson
Bellissimo
Bagnall
Lojek
Jaakola
Tume

Taticek is the best

I'd probably take Olson over Uchevatov as well. Uchevatov is a bit of an unknown qauntity. Uchevatov is a long term project while Olson probably will make the Nhl as 4th possibly 3rd liner in the future.

Ugggh?

Why?
because i really loved watching this guy in juniors. if he were to add some more size and develop his skating, i could see him as a good fourth line pest. he's just a player i like, edmonton had a few guys outside of ferguson too, but i liked him the best

I don't know enough about other teams prospects to pick theirs, but for the Flames, I'd say David Van der Gulik is our best darkhorse.

He slipped under the radar due to the fact that he was drafted out of the BCJHL as an 18 year old - thus he was a bit behind his counterparts, ie. Chuck Kobasew, who played in the same league and is a very comparible player - but showed tons of flash in a few prospect camps in Calgary and is really making a name for himself in the NCAA.
