If everyone on the line is a threat to score then it's much harder to defend against.

Hes a third liner that can move up to 2nd... hes basically Pleks without the offensive that pleks had during his young years...

Yesterday was a real stinker for Danault. On top of his own goal and the eight turnovers, he probably touched the puck 10 times in his 18 minutes of ice-time. He's playing over his head and it hurts the team.

So he's not Plek, he's a third liner that shouldn't be playing 2nd line, let alone the most minutes out of all our centers and with our best wingers.

When Danault goes on a tear while shutting down other teams’ best lines like he did a few weeks ago he’ll disappear though.

He is a solid two way player and I think it was Bergevin’s best trade

    Since after Winnipeg Win,

No goal last 13 games. 6 assists, -6, 15 shots on goal. 17:27 ice time during that stretch.

He, KK and Drouin all slumping at the same time.

Drouin no goal, 4 assists, -5, 24 shots on goal. 16:42 avg ice time.

KK 1 goal., 4 assists, Even, 18 shots on goal, 13:55 avg ice time.

Team is cold offensively Winnipeg/Detroit's game aside.

Only three turnovers tonight, including one that lead to a goal FOR us.

    Good game overall.

Danault ended tonight a 20 game goal drought.

Kinda went under the radar, funny how nobody really talked about it.

Must be because of his A1 defensive game.

He’s also collected many points during that period.

Why is he wearing the bird cage?

He's a lot more useful to the team than you know who.

Considering that his regular line mates for this season -- Tatar and Gallagher -- are having career years, Danault isn't nearly as useless as some make him out to be.

He's probably our most useful and important forward.

Since December 13th he has the second most points on the team, 34 pts in 45 games, +19 while a ridiculous 57% on faceoffs.

people dont talk about Danault cause while being effective he's damn boring to watch, he has no "moves", doesnt make great plays, etc.

I disagree here, Danault is not flashy offensively but he does a lot of great plays, mostly defensively but he can do some good moves in the offensive zone too, remember the dive to give Gally the puck right in the crease a few games ago? It was a solid play.
