When the musical QB chairs are finished does Bridgewater get a swing at a starting job?
Not the strongest arm so I’m sure that likely limits his options. Chicago in December isn’t a good fit for him. Plus even with TB the coach likes a vertical passing attack.

see where he lands.

for Indy, how much do they have invested in QBs? They restructured Brissett and Hoyer last season.

got to think one of those 2 is gone. Hoyer has no dead money. Brissett would cost them $12.5 mill in dead money. But this is the Gina year of his contract.

desperation move that will hurt them more than it will help them, short term
long term could help get a top 10 pick and get an actual QB with a future

Could latch on a team like Miami who may not want to start a rookie QB right away and wants a guy who can still help them compete.

Or could become the leagues highest paid backup.

Thank you for representing San Diego, Philip.

Rivers doesn't have the deep ball like he used to, but he should benefit from a better offensive line in Indy (and he won't have to operate in a silent count at home like they had been in LA). But I guess we'll see (hopefully) how much gas he has left in the tank.
