Sucks Saquon is in NY, I’m a big PSU guy. I think he’s going to have a monster season off the gate.

Where's the poster defending Voynov? I wonder if they'll stay together after this? That would alleviate some of the concerns people should have. :sarcasm:

So it sounds like McCoy didn’t personally beat the woman. The woman was living rent free in one of his homes in Georgia even though they were split up & McCoy has tried to evict her before.

A group of people broke into the home & assaulted her. I guess she’s more so alleging that he orchestrated the thing.

It was clearly deliberate and targeted as police say attacker demanded certain items during attack

Those items could help clue in police on who was behind it

im kind of mixed on this. Having dealt with squatters myself it is a very slow process to have someone legally evicted from your place. It is a crazy situation to be in. But if he had guys purposefully assualt her to get her out that is awful. Awfulness on both sides.

I’m glad the Eagles finally won but I hardly enjoyed any of the season. Had they won in ‘04 I would have been over the moon happy.
I loved it up until Wentz went down, then I was convinced we were cursed and Foles would blow it and I was not happy and never thought they'd get to the SB, let alone win, let alone win the way they did. So happy in the end and in the beginning, not so much in the middle.

The second Julio Jones didn’t come down with that ball I told my Wife they were winning the Super Bowl.

Was just so perfectly Philly with that team winning it all lead by Nick Foles.

I wasted a week of work going back watching films, watching what some of the smart football people thought was going to happen. I was totally convinced we wouldn't win, but i thought we had a chance because of BBD. That's right Douggie P He just has the right mentality in the game today and especially against a team like the Pats. You have to play to win.

I totally get why people still enjoy the NFL and especially this Eagle team. I just can’t stand the NFL and a bunch of below average intelligence athletes having to inject politics into the game and give scumbags a pass when they break laws the average person would never commit or think of committing

That is true but most hockey and baseball players aren’t trying to shove their views down your throat, especially while on the ice and in commercials during the game.

I’m not going to comment on it anymore since it has derailed the thread.

Watching unarmed black men die at the hands of police officers is not politics, is not a politicial view, and is not a thing to be dismissed. We have all seen the videos , and if you are not atleast disturbed by what you have seen then there is something fundamentally wrong with you. If you can simply ignore innocent people getting murdered then you have lost your right to be American, or a citizien of the human race. Murder is among the worst things humans are capable of doing, and when it occurs at the hand of people who are hired to protect us makes it even worst. The cherry on top is that they are never legally held responsible.

So instead of throwing a hissy fit over "Politics" how about you take a step back and put yourself in these athletes shoes. Why do you think they would be kneeling ( a sign of respect by the way) during the national anthem. Why do you think they would take on this unneccessary risk to bring attention to an issue? Think before you react.

that's everyone. not just athletes, hell, you're doing it by making that statement.
athletes are just using the platform they were given, I have zero problem with it. You don't have to like the message, but its America we are all allowed a voice :)

Also, Hayes came on the morning show (Angelo's show) said he wrote a piece about Shady early on (I assume post-draft) said wrote he was a little small. Years later, Shady got a moment alone with Hayes and threatened him, called him a MF, etc. He also told another story about how after a piece more into Shady's career, Shady had him come over to his locker to speak to him and made an attempt to shame him by having Asante grab him up while, Shady was being I'm not sure-- menacing maybe? So there's that anecdote.

Assuming that's Marcus Hayes, it would take a real McAsshole for me to side with him but somehow McCoy manages to do it.

Watching an innocent unarmed person be shot is horrible regard of race. And a vast majority of the time it comes to light that these situations didn’t happen the way the media and others have portrayed them happening. And cops have just as much right to protect themselves and other as any other person in America. When there are cases that prove a cop is in the wrong then I acknowledge that, but the second something happens the media injects it’s narative into the story even when we don’t know any of the facts yet. And you are part of the problem when you accuse someone of being okay with cold blood murder just because they don’t agree with your views.

They are taking no risk. They know the NFL is behind them. Colin Kaepernick is not in the NFL because he sucks, plain and simple. The NFL doesn’t keep players from playing if they are any good. If they did no one caught with drugs, illegal weapons, killing, domestic disputes, etc.. would be in the league. When any other person goes to work for a company or government they are subject to that entity’s regulations. If we did any of the things these players get away with, we would be in prison. If the players, coaches or anyone else in the NFL want to make a political statement, they should do it on their own time, not at work.

Anyways, sorry to derail this thread. I didn’t want to comment anymore but I can’t let someone call me sub human just because they don’t have a brain for themselves and regurgitate what the media tell them to. Enjoy the NFL if you want, but I have outgrown it and no longer do.
