I thought so too but the sideline view doesn't give you the greatest of angles on where those defenders in the middle of the field are sometimes. I'd like to see what Wentz saw.
Listen, the offense was whacked out, but Wentz's mobility didn't miss a beat and they hunkered down (albeit some help with penalties) and Carson led a game winning drive in clutch time with that rag tag group of WR and Smallwood as your lead back. I respect that.
On a similar note, the defense again delivers with their backs to the wall.
It was disgustingly ugly and penalty filled, and frustrating, but it's a W. Dirty but good.
Jeffrey rumored to be coming back soon. That'll help. Goedert got more involved. Also helps. Hopefully the offense finds a bit of a groove soon enough.
