Grant Hill never got back to playing the same minutes he played before his injury and Livingston averages less than 20 minutes a game. Max out Paul and have him play less than half the game. Brilliant. Plus Paul relies on his quickness compared those two.

How about Penny Hardaway, Brandon Roy, and Derrick Rose?

Chris Paul was the point god. But you shouldnt pay players for what they were, you pay them for what you think they are in the future. Signs point towards him being injured than what he was before in his career.

what about roy or rose. those injuries were random. Brandon roy had just signed a max extension with the trail blazers. injuries happen for whatever reason and they can not be predicted. Just the god honest truth.

so you thought it was Apropos to sign a guy with no cartilage to that extension?

Concerning and unavoidable given Portland’s options. It can be both. I’m just saying the signs of added risk were long apparent before he was drafted.

would you say he was riskier than dejuan blair? a player who played 7 years without an acl. Injuries are impossible to predict. Look at what happened to embiid this year. How fluky was that .

I feel as if a blanket yes or no wouldn’t do the question or my stance justice. On a medical level, I don’t know enough to say who was more likely to suffer a knee injury. I would say that given the play styles involved, the wear and tear aspect would worry me much more for Roy.

Injuries are impossible to predict reliably as a general, but some have increased rates of reoccurrence or risk of compensating injuries. The specificities of that are best left for an appropriate specialist. I’m not qualified to even speculate. My pre-existing injury concerns with Roy come from near unanimous reporting of team medical staff opinions.

I follow Kacy Sager on Twitter and she made a great point about Lebron being local because he's Lebron. You don't think he could get to LA in a day or two if needed too? He's been running his LA company for how many years without ever playing for a West cost team. I don't think going to Philly/Houston or wherever is going to upset that.

Also she said this will probably be Lebrons real last chance and do you think the Lakers team is built to take out Houston/Golden State?

:laugh: Jtown with the hottakes on the preceding page. I love CP, but best PG of all time? Curry is his comtemporary and is more impactful.
Hell Harden is a PG in everything but name and he was the best player on that Rockets team.

If the Sixers are unable to land one of the big time players in free agency I would absolutely be interested in Jabari Parker. He is a restricted free agent but he is a guy who can score and would fit right in with the young core the Sixers are building.

I'm not a fan either, the more I try to find someone to fall in love with, the more I wind up just saying **** it, just pick the guy with the most upside.
Think they’ll just go with the safe “NBA ready” guy. Didn’t the Colangelo burner account say Brett Brown was tired of developing guys?
